Compressor
A separate independent compressor is provided with a pneumatic
controlled smoke and heat ventilation system. Our compressors
are standard twin piston, belt driven and air-cooled. We can
provide any compressor to suit individual project needs. Our
compressors are delivered with: motor auto stop-start, safety
valve, pressure gauge, drain valve, oil. They are pre-wired,
mounted on an air receiver and completed with a test certificate.
Control Panel
A control system forms an integral part of any smoke and heat
ventilation system. We provide panels that are suitable for
electrical or pneumatic operation. Controlling a system can
be based on many parameters for example zonal controls, fire
activation, smoke detection, temperature, wind direction,
wind speed and rain. These operating features can all be included
in our control panels and linked to a BMS.
Wind and rain sensor
When a system is used to provide combined smoke ventilation
and day-to-day ventilation a rain sensor is generally provided.
When it rains the sensor will close the ventilators automatically
(if open) and revert to the original position when it stops
raining. The sensing head is located in an exposed position
on the roof and is wired back to the main panel for signalling.
