FURTEHR INFORMATION |
Smoke Management Systems play an important part
in protecting a building, its occupants and its contents. The criteria
for the design, testing and ongoing maintenance of Smoke Management
Systems is laid down in B.S. 7346 Part 1 1990, EN 12101, BS999:2008
and BS5588-12.
These standards recommend that smoke Management systems should be
serviced at least once a year, and tested at regular intervals to
ensure the system is operating correctly.
Tip: It is recommended that after installation the ventilators should
be serviced at least once a year and inspected every 6 months. |
