Extruded Acrylic Sheet
Extruded (XT) acrylic sheet is favoured for it’s clarity and good dimensional tolerances. It is relatively cost competitive in relation to other clear materials such as cast acrylic sheet. With excellent weathering characteristics XT is ideal for construction (glazing, protection), outdoor displays, poster covers and signage.
Extruded acrylic is used for applications suchas store displays, magazine shelving units or light diffusers in the retail environment. Extruded Acrylic is favoured for such applications due to it’s optimum light transmission level. XT sheets including all high impact grades can be used in contact with foodstuffs, and meet all current European food control legislation.
Extruded acrylic sheets from Williaam Cox are available in clear, opal white for signage and light diffusers, black for POP displays and glasslook clear & matt finishes. Acrylic Mirror is used in public areas where there is a high risk of breakage. It is stocked in silver but is also available in gold and in “one way” variations. We also stock 3mm Prismatic, used for light diffusion in signage and lighting applications, as with all extruded acrylic this product is UV stable and will maintain it’s appearance long term.
Extruded Acrylic is easy to fabricate, it can be moulded, hot line bent, glued, machined, polished and laser cut. For information on these and other processes please contact us.
