Williaam Cox were appointed Facade contractor on the Douglas S.C. redevelopment project.
This was the second project Williaam Cox built involving cladding the full building envelope including render; decoral brise soleil, curtain walling, stone & a sedam roof. The project also required Williaam Cox rooflights and smoke and vent products. Douglas S.C. redevelopment was successfully managed by Colman Murphy our regional contract manager in Cork.
Williaam Cox Full Building Envelope:
- 3000m2 structural glazing
- 1200m2of 40mm natural stone cladding
- 2500m2 of inverted aluminium louvre system
- 1600m2 of stainless steel mesh
- 100m2 of fire rated glazing systems
- 500m2 of VM zinc standing steel
- 1500m2 of aluminium cedar cladding
- 400m2 of glass blocks
- All ESB & steel doors set
- 5000m2 of roofing
- 1500m2 of self coloured render (build up system to single block)
- Complete package of smoke vents/rooflights.
