Ventilated Facade Cladding Solutions

ABET MEG – is a self-supporting high pressure laminate (HPL) with a decorative surface that is suitable for exteriors. It is fade resistance and weather proof and complies with standard EN 438-2005 Part 6. It is entirely made up of layers of phenolic resin impregnated cellouse fibers with one or more decorative surface layers of cellulose fibres impregnated with thermosetting resins. The manufacturing process involves the combined application of heat (150 oC) and high pressure (9 MPa) in multi-daylight presses in which resin polycondensation takes place. One or both sides can be decorative. It can be supplied as standard (MEG) or flame retardant (MEG1) versions; the latter have flame retardant additives mixed with the phenolic resins.

Fibre-C enables the construction of slim elements while maximising tensile strength. The extremely thin concrete substrate contribute to modern design intent allowing the designer to express shapes.

Fibre-C can be “secret fixed” or “visibly fixed” depending on the aesthetic look required, it is ideally suited for both external cladding or indoor cladding, furniture, staircases etc. Fibre-C is also available preformed in angular or curved options.
